Central Station located at 103 Elliot Street was erected in 1949. This station serves the downtown community as well as the south and the north ends of town. This firehouse is the location of the fire chief and assistant chief's offices as well as the fire alarm division. Central station is manned by five personnel including a shift captain, lieutenant, and three firefighters.
