Brattleboro Fire Fighters responded early Monday morning to a report of a tractor trailer roll over on I-91 Exit 3 on ramp. On arrival crews found the driver pinned inside the vehicle which was on it's roof. Fire Fighters took only 30 minutes to stabilize the vehicle and extricate the driver. Pictures above show the amount of damage to the drivers compartment to the truck. Crews from both Central Station and the West Station responded to the call with a total of 6 fire fighters.

On June 9th around 6pm, the Brattleboro Fire Department responded to 7/11 on Western Avenue for an accident involving a gas pump. A vehicle backed into the gas pump, knocking it over onto another vehicle and igniting a small fire in the base of the pump. An attendant at the station activated the pumps fire suppression system and dialed 911.
The call, which brought companies from the West Brattleboro and Central Stations, was held at a still alarm. Engine Company Two (out of the West Brattleboro Station) remained on scene until an environmental compliance engineer from the company arrived later Tuesday evening.
