Station 2 is located at 16 South Street just off of Western Avenue in West Brattleboro, this station houses two engines. The front line truck is manned by two firefighters at all times. Station two is four miles from the other station which can easily provide backup for each district. The crew responds to a mix of residential, agricultural, and rural areas in West Brattleboro. A light mix of commercial property adds to the area, as Route 9 is the major byway. Tourists and truck routes follow Rt 9 to access ski areas and western Vermont as well as upstate New York
